Dunks on Fire – A Futuristic MV Experiment
Dunks on Fire is an advertorial-style music video built around the launch of the Nike x RTFKT Dunks — sneakers designed with a futuristic skin that evolves across time and context. The storytelling was crafted entirely around the concept behind the shoe: a cross-dimensional sneaker drop, fitting them on, and traversing through worlds.
The project was a creative exercise in blending product marketing with music video aesthetics, while showcasing the possibilities of AI-led workflows. Created with roughly $80 in image and video generation credits and 50 hours of hands-on build time (image prompting and editing the actual shoes into each frame), the MV was produced entirely via prompting and editing, cutting out the need for a production crew, cast, or studio.
